Is this confidence or stubbornness
Self-esteem or refusing to hear criticism
It’s true I dig in my heels
I don’t care to make strangers happy
I expect to be loved as I am
So, if the result is that I am me
The most uncompromising me I can be
Does it matter how I got there?
