Don’t trust men

I know better than to trust a man

Particularly a cis white one

They’re used to their priveledge

Their reality is an echo chamber

They expect to be deferred to

They want me to be a good girl

While my nature is iconoclast

They want to fight and win

While I want to survive

I avoid, not looking to confront

I don’t have to engage

Under rules they define

My defiance is silent

My rebellion is on my terms.
