The persistant tickle in the throat
The burn in the middle of the chest
The expanding deep in the gut
The crackling of bone in the joints
The pulsing in the balls of the foot
The tight swollen itch of the skin
The pressure of sinus in the face
The sting of hot and irritated skin
The knot of contracted muscle
The little pains all add up
And eat away at my day.
